Month Two Coaching Question: How do you enlist your core team and help them catch the vision?

C. QUESTION FOR THIS SESSION: How do you enlist your core team and help them catch the vision?

1. We feel called, we have a people who we feel Jesus is leading us to reach, that Macedonian call; how do we get others to feel this call and want to join us on the team?

2. Help your lead pastor catch the vision (if you are not he or she).

3. Give them the book, Welcome to Dinner Church and have a conversation.

4. Who is connected to you? Who in your circle is ready to make a difference, maybe they are dissatisfied with simply coming to church.

• Is there a married couple, board member, who comes to mind?

• Who is already doing something out of the box in the community? Invite them to be a part of what God is doing. Jesus is already speaking to others who are ready to jump into people’s lives.

5. Invite a speaker to talk about dinner church.

6. Speak a message about dinner churches and how Jesus ministered around tables. 

• Provide a signup sheet for those who may be interested. 

• Set date/ time for a follow up informational meeting, provide lunch, etc.

• Approach a small group populated with people who are outreach focused.

• Prayer, faith, expectation. Be ready to engage people as their hearts are pulled toward joining the team.

7. Tell a short story of how a group applied this question to their plant and the results they experienced.

8. Is there a Dinner Church in your area that you can visit? Maybe take a couple key people with you.
